Above all, team development should not be a normative process: we are not going to tell each other what we should and should not do. If you have to subordinate yourself to that, you will run away screaming or lose yourself in the process.
- Don’t let the process become too soft either, it will make you lose sight of the objectives.
- People will only invest in a team when their own identity is well-expressed.
- If the possibilities and limitations are recognized, acknowledged and acted upon at the right time.
- ‘Highlighting’ those identities is our profession.
